About us
MANUGY was founded in early 2024 in Cologne as a spin-off from the Fraunhofer Institute for Production Technology (IPT) in Aachen and the Fraunhofer Research Institution for Battery Cell Production (FFB) in Münster. Our mission: to transform battery manufacturing with scalable, modular equipment and innovative process technology tailored for next-generation cells.
Rooted in research and driven by industry needs, MANUGY develops highly flexible, automatable machinery architectures tailored for next-generation battery technologies. With deep expertise in production engineering and a strong commitment to sustainability, we empower companies to accelerate the industrialization of innovative battery concepts.
